"ikes?"  it's simple:

the kids are on 2 wheels and I’m on 3.  Thus, "ikes", not just "bikes."  I’m on 3 due to a lack of balance from a car wreck. Soon I’ll be back on 2, but for now 3 gets me by. I’m just thankful I have the ability to ride with them on their 2 wheeled "bikes".

It’s a great bonding/biking time...
